The Redmond School of Irish Dancing has been providing lessons for over 20 years in the Netherlands. We provide dancing lessons to Children and Adults at all Levels.

The school teaches under the rules of CLRG, this is the largest Irish Dance organisation throughout the world. Within this organisation we are represented by RCCEA which is a group of teachers from Mainland Europe and Asia.

RCCEA

We have two qualified teachers, Catherine Redmond TCRG and Renske Burghout TCRG. Some of our senior dancers that are preparing for their exams also assist in lessons.

We are located in Amsterdam and just outside Den Haag in Leidschendam.

We encourage our dancers to take part in Feiseanna ( dance competitions) which are held all over Mainland Europe , our dancers also compete in Major competitions such as the All Ireland and World Championships, To date we have had several world and All Ireland medal holders.

Our dancers also love to show off their skills, we can be found every year dancing at the Grote markt in Den Haag at the annual St Patrick’s Day celebrations. If you are looking for dancers for a event you have coming up please feel free to contact us. We love to perform.

Dancing is not all about competitions or for the kiddies though. We have many adult dancers that just join the lessons for the dance , chats and laughs. We are always happy to welcome new Adults in our Thursday and Friday groups in Den Haag and Amsterdam.

Irish dance is a wonderful form of dance, it brings people together from all walks of life that share a passion for Ireland and dance.
